Mr Dharmendra Pradhan's father was a politician, His father was the Minister of Service and Transport Department at that time Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Dharmendra Pradhan belong from a  politician's family.



 His political career started reading from Utkal University because his father was a politician. He also wants to contribute in a political career when he is studying at the Utkal University Anthropology department  In 1983 started his carrier, Mr Dharmendra Pradhan Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad or ABVP was one of his members.





1995 I was given the National Secretary of ABVP

From 2000 to 2004, his constituency elections were won by becoming a member of the Orissa assembly in the Lok Sabha.
